2016 Boys and Girls Lacrosse Club Sign Ups

Lacrosse is open to Boys and Girls in Grades 4 through 8 and will begin the end of March or early April.   Please join us on Tuesday 2/9 at BRMS from 6p.m .to 8 p.m.  or Wednesday 2/10 at CHMS from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  If you have any questions please contact Melissa Mutolo at melissamutolo@live.comfor the girls team and Craig Benson for the boys team.

Smilie School's 5th Delayed Opening is on Wednesday, January 13, 2016. School will begin 2 hours later than normal.

School will officially begin at 9:30 a.m.

Holiday Fun at Smilie

Students at Smilie had a fun-filled day on Tuesday, December 22, 2015! There were poetry readings, town meetings, creating lanterns and singing together with Mr. Arthur's accompaniment. Enjoy the video and Happy New Year to everyone!

MMMUSD | CESU Pre-K Enrollment Reminder

January 30, 2016 is the deadline to submit MMMUSD | CESU Universal Pre-K enrollment forms.  This lets us know what your choices are for Pre-K for the 2016-17 School Year.  This also secures Act 166 funds for your child for the 2016-17 School Year.  Please submit this form to CESU Central Office in Richmond on or before January 30th.  For more information, to enroll online, or download the enrollment form you can go to http://prek.cesuvt.org .

MMMUSD | CESU School Based Pre-K placement will occur the beginning of February.  Notification of your child’s School Based Pre-K placement will be send out by the end of February.

Did you know? You may be eligible for a $3,000 tuition credit for your 3, 4 or 5 year old (not attending kindergarten) to attend a pre-qualified Private Community Pre-K (Act 166).  

Did you know?  CESU has free School-based Pre-K classrooms for 3 and 4 year olds at Brewster Pierce Memorial School, Smilie Memorial School, Richmond Elementary School and Jericho Elementary School.

Did you know? CESU is offering a tuition free, full day, 5 days a week classroom option for 4 year olds at Richmond Elementary School and Jericho Elementary School.  Participation for this classroom requires proof of income eligibility and your child must be 4 by September 1, 2016.  If you are not eligible for this classroom you can have the option to be entered into a lottery process for available slots.  See guidlines on our website:  http://prek.cesuvt.org
